Our beautiful little boy Liam Ryan passed away suddenly on 14th August 2018. Liam was four and a half years old.
Liam had a smile that would light up a room and beautiful sparkling eyes. He was always full of fun and mischief. Liam could make anything out a couple of building blocks and would have a full blown restaurant arranged in his toy kitchen, his imagination was his greatest toy. He is dearly loved by all his family, friends and cousins. He is missed every day.
There aren't appropriate words to describe the devastating effect his loss has had on our family. We had to rely on support services such as the Children's Grief Centre to help us through this tremendously difficult time. The Children's Grief Centre provided our 7 year old daughter with a safe and comfortable environment, that allowed her to process her loss in a child-centered way through play therapy. This was very important to us, as we were unsure of how best to help her deal with this tragedy. The support she has received from the Children's Grief Centre has been of huge benefit to her and will continue to be in the future.
